Thomas E. Arenberg is Next Door’s Board President. Tom joined the Board of Directors in 2004 and became President in 2009.
Tom retired from Accenture where he worked 34 years, serving as the Office Managing Director from 2005 to 2009. He and his family have worked with Next Door Foundation in a variety of roles for over 30 years. Tom also serves on Boards for the Children’s Hospital and Health System Foundation and Wiscraft Industries.

Carol Keintz officially took over as Next Door's Executive Director on October 1, 2008. Before joining Next Door, Carol served as associate director of the Dane County Parent Council, which serves 1,000 children through programs that include Early Head Start and a nationally recognized Head Start program. She previously served as the council’s director of the Zero to Three/Early Head Start program and was executive director of the Satellite Family Child Care.
