Next Door Foundation’s Board of Directors established an Endowment Fund with a long-range goal to support and assist the organization through supplemental funding of programs, services and activities.
Currently, Next Door Foundation has two endowment fund accounts: 1) the Suzanne and Richard Pieper Family Fund, and 2) the Next Door Foundation Endowment Fund.
The Pieper Fund was established in 2003 through a challenge grant from Richard and Suzanne Pieper and gifts from 120 friends of Next Door.
Key donors to the Next Door Foundation Fund were Fred and Joan Brengel and Virginia John.
The Endowment Fund account is separate from general Next Door Foundation operating funds and is governed by the Endowment Fund Committee. The Endowment Fund Committee makes investment, distribution and other decisions for the Endowment Fund in accordance with Next Door Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Next Door also benefits from the “Hope H. Anderson Fund for Next Door Foundation at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation,” which is not owned by Next Door Foundation.
