Next Door promotes school readiness and success in life for young Milwaukee children and families through exceptional early childhood programming and whole-family support services.
We serve more than 1,400 children ages 0-5 who live in poverty. Through this year’s Holiday Giving Program, our goal is to provide a holiday gift for each of our Next Door children. With your help, we know we can bring joy to a child in need!
2014 HOLIDAY GIVING Program
The Holiday Giving Program at Next Door assist hundreds of families each year, lessening their stress and financial burden, while providing them with a memorable holiday season. Here is how you can help assist a child or family:
Adopt a Next Door Family: Sponsors provide gifts for families in need. Each sponsor who adopts a family will receive a ‘wish list’ to shop from. Since families of various sizes are available for adoption, this is a great opportunity for organizations, or groups of individuals, to work together in support of a needy family.

Adopt a Next Door Classroom:Sponsors provide gifts for toddlers and preschool students. Sponsors receive a gift tag to provide a gift to a child enrolled in one of Next Door’s Early Childhood Education Programs.

Monetary/In-Kind Donations: Sponsors provide items to help stretch Next Door’s program budget. You can provide direct help for one of our programs through monetary donations.
Volunteer - Sponsors provide hands-on assistance to the Holiday Giving Program. Come to Next Door at Capitol Drive and join us as we sort, organize, and wrap presents, or help coordinate a drive for gifts or food.
